WHO WE ARE

GLOBAL SERVICE WOOD S.R.L was founded in 2002 in Verona province, the heart district of the manufacturing of style furniture. Our experience, however, started already in 1990, ranging from hardwoods to exotic species, including elements and semi-finished products, wooden paneling and scantlings.
Global Service Wood guarantees its seriousness and professionalism with assistance in offers, in the choice of goods, in transport and in everything that is required in commercial operations.

GLOBAL SERVICE WOOD

We deal with direct sources of wood from different origins, with wood processing and trading for domestic and export market. The goods is imported after direct testing. However, we also rely on local direct co-operators who operate in our name and maintain relations with the producers companies, with whom we have established relationships of trust and guarantee of deliveries. Our purchases are constant and goods is always re-inspected once reach Italy, in order to guarantee our customers the best quality ever. Our deposit is located in the industrial area of Angiari (37050) – 40 km far from Verona. For some special goods we also use our own space in Venice customs warehouse.

SPECIALISATION

Our intent over the years has been to specialize only in some wood species, where we are sure we can provide a great product: Squared Edged lumber of Chestnut, Ash, European Walnut, Oak, Lime and Poplar are among our most important range goods.

SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS

We also avail solid edged glued panels in Beech, Poplar and Lime.
Among semi-finished products we guarantee an excellent quality on Larch and Siberian Pine scantling in the most common size, which can be offered also in Chestnut, Oak and Ash on demand. We offer door kits in Lime and Poplar which can be offered in Chestnut, Ash and Spruce too. Same on solid elements, for furniture sector.

CHESTNUT

Chestnut wood among hardwoods is the most durable and resistant to moisture. In carpentry it is suitable not only for interiors but also for exteriors. It is easily combined also in contemporary furnishings that combine tradition and modernity.

European ASH

Ash wood is tough and elastic, particularly suitable for decorative, musical and sports equipment. Thanks to its light color and the ease of processing, it is much appreciated by furniture and kitchen manufacturers.

POPLAR

Soft wood but with excellent workability both for painting and gluing.
Very homogeneous and light, multi-functional and resistant, suitable for the production of furniture in poor style.

LIME

Light colored wood, with a fine and homogeneous structure, well workable. Well known thanks to its flexibility of carving in sacred art but also used in the field of furniture, frames and tools.

BEECH

Very common broad-leaved wood, known for its light color, which can take on the well-known pinky color through vaporization. Widely used in the construction of furniture and stairs.

European WALNUT

Hardwood that presents chromatic differences that make it valuable and required in the cabinet-making sector and in the production of high-quality style furniture.
